When we use the phrase “LANAI for life,” we mean it. We care about the health of the planet, and that goes beyond just using recycled materials in the production process.
SUSTAINABILITY
LANAI FOR LIFE
When you build a LANAI deck, it’s guaranteed for life. That means you don’t have to replace it, re-stain it, or replace broken parts, all of which contribute to pollution and excess waste.
ZERO TREES USED
We have a commitment to using zero trees in all of our products. Even the cardboard in our packaging is 100% recycled material.
100% RECYCLABLE
We only use and manufacture products that are fully recyclable, including our packaging. Other composite decking products mix multiple materials like wood and plastic together, making any waste non-recyclable.
LESS WASTE
Our smaller, shorter, LANAI planks and staggered seams ensure a highly reduced amount of waste on any project, saving money and the environment. Each project has less than about 3% waste, compared to 10% or more on a typical decking project.
A TREE PLANTED FOR EVERY BUNDLE SOLD
Through our partnership with Trees For The Future, LANAI plants a tree for every bundle of LANAI Planks sold. This partnership helps in ending hunger and poverty in sub-Saharan Africa by training farmers to regenerate their land.
A typical deck build results in about 20-30 of trees being planted. This not only helps the environment, but also helps provide food and support to developing nations.
